| Andes was created in 1980 in La Paz Bolivia. The group travelled all over the Americas and Europe spreading the Andean culture and gaining the recognition of an important audience. Mallku means Condor and also "chief" in Quechua. The condor is a predator bird, king of the Andes fauna that has an ancestral significance among Andean cultures as symbol of power. |
